Technology has become a huge part of our everyday life. I was very privileged that I had a fantastic childhood before the push of technology started. The whippersnappers nowadays can't stay occupied without an iPad in one hand and a iPhone in the other. On the other hand, when I was that age I colored for entertainment, I still do. Soon enough the children won't know the feeling of the scorching sun or the vibrant moon because they are inside playing with the latest toy. Last weekend I was babysitting a family friend's children. The youngest child, Shepherd, the only way to keep him from crying and throwing a fit is the iPad. Which is why I strongly believe that no child should be given a phone sooner then age 11 when I got my first phone. Kids nowadays don't realize that these gadgets are a privilege. We have a huge future ahead us. Are we ready?!
